SWEET STYLES NATURALS POLICY
Please be mindful that reserving an appointment removes the opportunity for another client to book on the date and time that you have chosen. If you need to cancel your appointment, your deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is made at at least 48 hours before your original appointment day & time. After 48 hours, a refund will not be permitted, but you can still reschedule to apply that deposit for another day. The deposit will not be lost if the appointment is rescheduled within at least 24 hours of your appointment. After 24 hours, you will no longer be able to reschedule your appointment and the deposit can no longer be transferred. The reason we have this policy in place is because once you cancel there must be enough time allotted to allow for someone else to potentially book & we don't want changes to negatively impact our business model. Once you reschedule, your initial deposit is non refundable.
If you wish to come on another date and time, DO NOT CANCEL your appointment, please reschedule. If you decide to not show up for your appointment you will be charged 100% for the service, as your deposit will be retained and the remaining balance for the service will be charged to the card on file. No Call No Show No Rebook.
Once a 50% deposit is taken to reserve your appointment, after the appointment service the remaining 50% will be due. The remaining balance should be paid in cash or Zelle only.
All services must be booked at the time of booking to reflect the full allotment of time you need for your appointment. If you are unsure of how much time you may need / services to book, please book a sweet consultation.
Mandatory Consultation for all clients who are
Excessive heat damage or only been ironing natural hair.
Only been in protective styles
Haven’t seen a professional about their natural curly hair
Excessive pulling ( ponytails/buns)
Newly to wash and go natural curly styling
If you don't know or have an idea of a desired style
Please book a consultation along with service for all new clients if you fall under these categories above.
Please book a consultation ONLY if you don't understand your natural hair and what service fits you best. I will examine the hair to know what the best options are for you. You can book a styling service once the consultation is performed according to the evaluation.
Please come to your appointment with your hair detangled, It's imperative we start your service free of tangles.
For all braids or protective styles, please detangle, shampoo, and condition your hair before arriving to your scheduled appointment. Your hair may have shedded which causes locking i.e. excessive tangling & there may be product build up which is why we ask this of you. If you arrive without detangling your hair, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be non refunded. No Exceptions.
Please come to the salon with your hair down and free of clips, buns, or hats
Please have your hair in it's natural state
Please shy away from having excessive products in your hair that are oily/greasy
Please style your hair with minimum amount of leave in conditioner, air dry, no gels, and hair should be fully dry
Even though we love friendly faces. Due to the limited space and for the comfort of all clients, accompanying guests and/or children who are not being serviced are not allowed to be present in the salon while the client is receiving services.
We pride ourselves on offering timely, outstanding service. To that end, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We know things happen, so if you are running a few minutes behind, provided we hear from you, we can hold your appointment for 15 minutes. However, in order for us to accommodate each guest in a timely manner, we ask that you be on time for your appointments. After 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge 100% of the service. As your deposit will be retained and the remaining balance for the service will be charged to the card on file. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime.

We kindly ask that you advise us of any illness, injury, or changes to your health status prior to any services being conducted. We cannot be held responsible if a client does not disclose pertinent health information.
There is a Complimentary Service Mandatory before every color service. No color service will be performed without consultation. *Please do not book color service first, as a consultation must be performed before booking your color service.
